Price and proximity to Hong Kong Airport

Very difficult access to reach this island. Taxi's are restricted from 7 am to 8 pm. Shuttles bus runs every half hour but requires traversing many steps, escalators and elevators to reach hotel lobby. Hotel is also a hostel which lots of summer camp kids running in all directions,

This hotel is amazing value for money! The rooms with four bunks are spacious and comfortable, and the balcony offers stunning views of the beach. The staff is attentive and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The area is peaceful and away from the typical tourist crowds, and with various modes of public transportation close at hand, getting to the city center is a breeze.

Nothing was a problem, it was a great stay!

We chose Noah's Ark because of its proximity to the airport. We didn't want to travel all the way into the city when we got in late at night. We flew out early the next morning, and it was simple to take the bus from the hotel back to the airport. The room was clean and very comfortable. It is much more spacious than the other hotels we stayed at in Hong Kong a week later. The resort looked like it would be fun to visit, but we didn't have the time.

It is good place to relax by the nature and seaside.The Noah Ark itself is a nice place to visit with the kids.

The carpets in corridor is quite old.They really need a pool or spa also by the resort (as without that nowadays people are not tempted to relax).As the beach near by is good but the water quality is not even average. They should something more for the food variety.

This hotel is located in a peaceful island away from the hustle-bustle of the city. Moreover, it's easy to access to the rest of the city with various means of public transportation. Inside a theme park, this hotel offers spacious rooms with all basic amenities and a lovely view of the bridge. The staff are friendly and attentive- they helped me discover unique, local spots. The room had a queen size bed, shower curtain to keep my clothes dry.

The room is very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The price is very reasonable and you get your value for money.The location is near the airport and Disneyland. The place is also very accessible by bus.

The hotel staff is not very helpful and accommodating, there are no amenities like complimentary lotion, bottled water, tea or coffee. They also do not have room service, we needed ice to keep the insulin we brought cold but they don't have any since it's already late. The free breakfast starts late at 8:00am.

All was fine, just minor room for improvement.

Since my kids knew Noah's story, they enjoyed the feeling of staying in the ark. We were upgraded to a dormitory for 8 people, and we appreciated the spacious room. We also explored the expos within the ark. Though it is quite limited, my kids enjoyed it for they love animals.

The location has very limited places to go to. Going to and from the main city would cost a bit.

This hotel is excellent for family with small children. The park and surrounding gardens are lovely. Its right on a nice clean beach where your children can play. Its far from the hustle of Kowloon city but close enough to travel to if you want to do some shopping. Its also very close to Disney Land! Public transport is very efficient to/from hotel.

Because its a bit far from Kowloon, the public transport price is a bit higher to travel around. It may not suit travellers who wants to shop in Hong Kong.

This hotel is located in a peaceful island, around 20 minutes ferry ride from Central, away from the typical tourist areas of Hong Kong. It provides a variety of public transportation options to reach the city center. The rooms have a shower curtain cordoning off a dry area for your clothes, and a lovely view of the bridge.

No negative aspects to mention, everything was satisfactory.

In a quieter area of Hong Kong and beside a beach.

It was a little out of the way but once you figured out the transportation it was fine. Great location for getting to the airport if you don't have alot of luggage and it has a great shuttle in the community not at the hotel.

Staff were friendly. We stayed in an 8 person room, though we only needed 4, because you got bathrooms instead of one, for the same money. Free wi-fi was fast and simple to set up. Out to the wide and long terrace there was a great view of the bridge. Our kids loved the place. Room was extremely clean, and house keeping was great. The beds were very comfortable, and though they were only large sized twins, my wife and I fit easily. It has it's own private beach which is nice and clean. We were constantly treated to the sounds of the many song birds that make Ma Wan island their home. The hotel is actually located inside the Noah's ark resort itself, so for only 100 extra HK dollars we enjoyed the park as well. Transportation is simple and easy. There are lots of shops and restos very close to the hotel. Chinese, Thia, Indian, German, even a pizza place a short walk away. Very close to Disney. Away from the hustle and bustle of HK proper. Quiet in the evenings, just sit on the beach, watch the stars and take in the fresh air. We love the place because everything you want to do as a family is there. Public transportation in HK is remarkable. To and from anywhere for less then a starbucks coffee.

Not much of a nit picker, so I'll leave out some of the things that others included, that can be corrected with a minimal amount of common sense. You can not pull up directly to the hotel, even if you take a taxi. It is a bit of a walk to the hotel itself, about 1/2 km. as it is located inside of a theme park. Make sure you bring wheeled luggage to make it easier. I guess if you read the info about the place going in, you will know all this. For us it was no problem. But I am sure for elderly persons, it will be difficult.
